Hardware Development Engineer – Power Electronics
Your responsibilities include:
- Develop cutting-edge hardware solutions for servo drive systems.
- Design and optimize power supplies and servo inverters.
- Create and refine PCB layouts to ensure robust and reliable designs.
- Analyze complex tasks, develop solution concepts, and create product specifications.
- Design, evaluate, and implement power electronic circuits and components.
- Perform simulations to evaluate new circuit concepts and components.
- Dimension power electronics components, considering thermal concepts and mechanical integration.
- Develop, evaluate, and implement EMC concepts for compliance with guidelines.
- Support product verification by defining tests and assessing results.
- Prepare product-relevant documentation for development and production.
Qualification and Key requirements:
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in hardware development for power electronics and electric drive technology.
- Proficiency in circuit design and layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro).
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, Simplorer, PLECS, MATLAB/Simulink).
- Strong knowledge of digital and analog circuit development, maintenance, and verification.
- Familiarity with Functional Safety standards (IEC 61508 / ISO 13849) is a plus.
- Analytical mindset for solving complex tasks.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, especially in international teams.
- Excellent English proficiency (spoken and written).
